[A dialogue between a teacher and a student on the use of the Internet]
Anika : Good morning madam. How are you?
Mrs. Sahina : Good morning. I’m fine and you?
Anika : Fine, madam. But I’m in a bit trouble.
Mrs. Sahina : What’s the fact?
Anika : I can’t understand the necessity of internet international connection with a computer. Can you help me?
Mrs. Sahina : The Internet is a computer based networking system. It is devised in a manner that it operates between communicating computers all over the world for various purposes through relevant systems in the twinkling of an eye.
Anika : How is that?
Mrs. Sahina : Suppose, you want to speak with a person in America, or to get information about the daily habits of the American, or to see the pictures of the devastation caused by Atom Bomb in Hiroshima during the World War II or to read newspapers of a country, you can do so instantly through the Internet.
Anika : Is it such a miracle?
Mrs. Sahina : Yes. It’s the latest miracle of science and technology. It has captured the whole world within a computer screen.
Anika : Then we can make all kinds of communication all over the world by having an Internet, can’t we?
Mrs. Sahina : Yes.
Anika : This is very interesting indeed! I’d like to have an Internet connection with my computer. Would you help me in this matter?
Mrs. Sahina : Of course. why not!
Anika : Thank you. I’ll come tomorrow.
Mrs. Sahina : You’re welcome.
