1. Great saint Bayazid Bostami
...Bayazid immediately went to kitchen and took a glass in his hand. He tried to pure water into the glass from a pitcher of their kitchen. To his utter surprise he found that the pitcher was empty. There was not water in the pitcher. He then went out with the pitcher in his arm in search of water.
He walked more than two kilometers to collect water. After walking more than two miles he found a well. He filled his pitcher with water from the well and came back home. But he found that his mother went to sleep again. He did not disturb her but kept waiting till his mother woke up from sleep.
When his mother woke up she found her son standing with a glass the water in his hand. She was highly pleased with her son and prayed for him deeply.
This son is Bayazid Bostomi who we still remember.
2. My School Library
A library is a room where many kinds of books are neatly arranged. I think most of the high schools of Bangladesh have libraries.
May be very few schools have libraries. But we have a library in our school. So, we are lucky. Our school library is not so big. It is housed in a small room. There are only six almirahs in our school library. There is a big table and only twelve chairs are around the table.
There is no separate seating arrangement for the teachers. Our teachers sit at one corner of that big table.
All the six almirahs are full of books. We have books on history, language, literature, travels, drawing, games, children and music.
We face some problems in our library.
Sometimes we cannot get the books we want because the number of same books is not many. In our library class, we all cannot sit together as the number of chairs is limited.
Still it is a lovely place for me.
